Conference The Renaissance Conference of Southern California (RCSC) is a scholarly association dedicated to the advancement of learning in Renaissance studies. Since 1956 RCSC has sponsored and organized conferences at centers of learning in Southern California. At present our membership consists of over four hundred academics, students, and independent scholars whose interests include the visual arts, architecture, music, theater, history, philosophy, religion, languages, and literatures of Renaissance Europe. RCSC is an affiliate society of the Renaissance Society of America. RCSC holds an annual conference at the Huntington
Library in San Marino
, The 2007 RCSC Conference will be held at the Huntington on February 2. Frances Dolan of UC Davis will deliver the Annual Lecture. Paper proposals for the 2008 conference will be accepted through November 1, 2007. For details, see the Call for Papers.
